Asset Management Consultancy
The way in which public services manage their assets both strategically and operationally directly affects their ability to deliver. Asset Management is therefore a central function in both the private and public sectors.
We are helping local authorities to improve their effectiveness when developing and implementing corporate capital strategies and asset management plans. We also provide assistance to local authorities in understanding the links to the prudential code.
IPF consultants offer practical advice and assistance in the field of asset management, from capital accounting and asset management systems to strategic planning and to the bigger picture such as the street scene.
We can help you to:
- Create better linkages between corporate and asset management objectives, strategic leadership, corporate working and the organisation of property, land, vehicle and plant management.
- Increase the use and sharing of national and local performance indicators.
- Develop formal strategies for key areas, such as disposals, space utilisation, asset sharing and procurement.
- Develop formal approaches to project and programme option appraisal, including whole life costing.
- Secure savings and reduce risk.
