New Asset Manager.Net
The new .Net version of the software will run across the internet, an organisation’s local Intranet, or as a standalone system. This will greatly widen the scope of potential users at remote sites providing convenient access to Schools, other service points and the organisation’s partners or contractors.

Asset Manager.Net also offers the following additional benefits:
  • E government compliance
  • Quick and easy upgrade of software via the internet
  • Easier reporting, inputting and exporting of data in common formats
  • Flexible reporting facilities
  • Convenient links to financial and other information systems
Asset Manager.Net has been implemented to accommodate future development of the software. A central Core of information populates every Module, additional Modules can easily be attached to the Core (like spokes of a wheel to the hub). By developing the system in this way there will be no drop in functionality with the addition of Modules.

The IPF Asset Manager.Net software comes with a data dictionary to assist in the location of required data for developing individual reports using reporting tools such as Crystal Reports. Modules contain data export facilities to text, CSV or XML files, which in turn can be read into MS Office Applications or be used for import to other systems.

IPF have always committed to track legislation and amend Modules in line with these changes. As a wholly owned company of CIPFA we are in a unique position of pulling on our parent companies research and guidance to ensure that the software adheres to Financial practise in local government.

As the commercial arm of CIPFA, IPF are in a position to ensure that all the financial components of the software meet the CIPFA codes, as well as being able to provide the Strategic reports for the Treasurer.

We also call upon the Asset Management Network run by IPF, along with our own Steering Group of key Clients to ensure that current and future developments are integrated into the software and are driven by our Clients requirements.
