The Property Survey Consultancy have carried out a variety of Surveys on buildings throughout the UK for both the Public and Private Sector.

Condition Surveys
IPF has developed a highly efficient and cost-effective methodology for collecting Condition Survey data on site using a hand held computer, in accordance with DfES, ODPM and Scottish Executive requirements.
The format of the survey will allow for translation into a profile of need for a selected year i.e five year. The selection of a five year time-scale is considered optimum for assessment of condition as well as meeting acceptable budget cycles. Buildings are not generally subject to rapid deterioration but a procedure will be required for annual overview to ensure that any meaningful change to the intended investment is identified.
With reasonable accuracy, it can be predicted that the findings of the survey will identify investment needs well beyond the scope of the current budget provision. The findings of the survey will, therefore, be prioritised in accordance with the policy objectives of the Client to assist the management decision for final programmes of work.
To ensure there is the greatest consistency in the data collected a structured format is followed. This format and methodology will ensure there is efficiency in data handling as well as create the correct reporting environment.
The survey will also collect room identification and areas to provide information for space analysis.
Data is readily transferred into the Condition Survey Module and can be easily interrogated to produce a wide variety of reports. The reports can be accompanied by both CAD layout plans and digital photographs linked to the software.
In support of our Condition Surveys we can provide either CAD Not to Scale Line Drawings. A methodology has been developed to allow the insertion of hyperlinks within the CAD drawings, this allows the user to select a hyperlink and navigate to any relevant data e.g selecting a room hyperlink would allow the user to filter the Condition data specifically for that room.
CAD Drawings are provided in Autocad LT format, are editable and viewed utilising the Autocad LT Program, or alternatively they can be viewed by utilising Voloview.
